Hey! I’m Monse, short for Monserrat…
I’m a digital artist based in the East Coast of Canada. I started my journey as an advertising designer graduating from OCAD University in Toronto. I worked in several design studios and independent freelance projects across Canada and abroad.
After working as a designer and motion designer for several years, I slowly made my transition into TV commercials and short films encouraging me to go back to school for a postgrad in VFX for film and television, specializing in digital matte painting. I fell in love with the process of creating photorealistic images and applying creative input into this to develop concepts, elements and background. some of my work comes from photographs i take. Photography is another passion that drives me out of my office chair and into the woods, my happy place.
I am currently open for contract and freelance jobs, available for remote or in-house work and willing to relocate. I enjoy moving to different cities around the world for work to experience different working environments, people and cultures.
